This morning we give our attention to one verse in the tenth chapter of Romans,verse 1. Now, I suspect that if indeed you are a Christian, you believe in the sovereignty of God. How do I know? Well, as J.I. Packer points out, "If you are a Christian you pray; and the recognition of God's sovereignty is the basis of your prayers. "I mean, why would anyone pray to a God who wasn't sovereign? Why would you pray to a God who was unwise, impotent, and limited?
