Not Understanding What You Have Read

When you read the Scriptures, do you always understand what you read? While it is true that some texts of Scripture are quite complex, other texts are more easily and readily understood. What if our failure to understand the Scriptures is a result of simple refusal to believe the words on the page? The early church apostles labored in the Word of God to persuade their audiences to repent of sin and believe in Jesus Christ for salvation.
