Can you imagine what it might be like to have access to the world’s greatest theological mind and yet you told him to “Go away; I don’t want to hear any more”? For two years, Felix kept Paul in custody and had numerous conversations with Paul. Yet, to our knowledge, Felix remained unconverted to Christ. The text today has a “déjà vu” feel to it. Again, we anticipate another hearing of the Apostle Paul.
