The impact of the miraculous healing of the lame beggar continued to create ripples in the city of Jerusalem. Moreover, not everyone was thrilled with the truth Peter declared regarding the Messiah’s death. Peter and John’s preaching had to stop. But, Peter and John were quite popular presently with the people, due in large part to this miracle healing and the positive responses to the preaching of the good news.
