Cody Kitchen

Associate Pastor / Young Adults / Education

Cody Kitchen began serving as Associate Pastor of Young Adults and Education at Field Street Baptist Church in September 2021. Before joining Field Street, he served as a Student Minister for three years. Cody and his wife, Allison, have two children, a son named Keegon and a daughter named Haley. Allison also serves on staff as the Children’s Minister. Cody earned a Bachelor of Criminal Justice from Texas State University and a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree, also from Southwestern Seminary. Cody has a deep passion for seeing the next generation develop a hunger for God’s Word and live out Jesus’ command to “go and make disciples.” His heart is to be faithful to God’s calling on his life by preaching and teaching Scripture with clarity, conviction, and faithfulness. In his free time, Cody enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, woodworking, and watching sports.
